2019
Materials: sand, calium silicate, C02, time
Four columns sized 35 x 35 x 150 cm, covering 100 m2 area
The site-specific installation consists of five sand pillars in a cross formation. The installation depicts the passing of time and temporality – the change that we cannot perceive in the present, but in a longer period of time. Being exposed to the changes of natural forces like wind, rain, sun and human interaction, the work slowly vanished back in to the dunes where it was originally built from.
